The oldest Czech open-water distance swimmer in the 2009 competition season is our member, cold-water swimmer Oldřich Pospíšil, born in 1938. A broken arm limited him to the end of the summer season, when he completed two three-kilometre races at Pastviny and Mělice.
“I may swim slowly, but I have finished every race so far,” says Olda, who is primarily a winter swimmer.
Olda shows how winter swimming and regular cold-water conditioning can build fitness that serves you all year round. Congratulations!
