Our next campfire takes place on Friday 18 September 2009 from 18:00. As always, cold-water swimming friends from outside the club are warmly welcome. I. PKO members will each receive a beer, a sausage and bread. We will meet even in bad weather: the clubhouse provides shelter, and the barbecue can go under the canopy by the steps.
Before the campfire, those interested can join a club trial at 17:30. The informal 750-metre race, half upstream and half downstream, lets our members and any other swimmers compare their pre-season form. No advance entries are needed; everything will be organised on the spot.
