The tenth anniversary of our competition will also be the first Ladislav Nicek Memorial. Last year’s Braník Ice was Laďa’s final competition; he died in May 2011, shortly before his 98th birthday. His son, Ladislav Nicek Jr, will be among our guests.
Unlike previous years, lunch and the awards ceremony will take place at Modřany Cinema. The accompanying programme includes the documentary “Winter Swimming” (also open to the public, with voluntary admission).
