Clubhouse reopening from 7 June 2021

Dear cold-water swimmers,

The I. PKO Praha clubhouse will reopen on 7 June 2021, subject to the following rules indoors:

1. Visitors must have no clinical symptoms of COVID-19.

2. On entry, visitors must show a negative COVID-19 test, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery, in accordance with the detailed requirements below points 1–7.

3. Sign the visitors’ book with your first name and surname.

4. Wear a respirator covering your nose and mouth.

5. Keep at least two metres apart.

6. Ensure as much ventilation as possible.

7. The member on duty (keyholder) will check compliance; visitors must follow the instructions of these authorised members.

Miloš Paseka will be the keyholder on Monday 7 and Wednesday 9 June. Other club keyholders, please contact him with the times when you can volunteer for duty.

At last — SEE YOU BY THE WATER! :-)

Tomáš Prokop, club chair.

PS: The “Palouček” refreshment kiosk by the clubhouse is open again. Given the impact of the pandemic and its efforts to keep prices unchanged, we will not be using last year’s “cold-water swimmers’ discount”.

The requirement in point 2 above may be met in any of the following ways:

a) A negative RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 taken no more than seven days earlier; or

b) A negative point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 antigen test taken no more than 72 hours earlier; or

c) COVID-19 vaccination documented by a national vaccination certificate. This must be written confirmation, issued at least in English by an authorised body operating in the Czech Republic, another EU member state, or a country or part of a country classified by the Ministry of Health as presenting a low risk of COVID-19 infection. The certificate’s format must appear on the Ministry’s online list of recognised national certificates, and it must identify the vaccinated person, vaccine type, vaccination date and issuing body. The following time limits apply:

i) For a two-dose schedule under the vaccine’s Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC), at least 22 days but no more than 90 days have passed since the first dose, if the second has not yet been given;

ii) For a two-dose schedule under the SPC, at least 22 days but no more than nine months have passed since the first dose, if the second dose has been given; or

iii) For a single-dose schedule under the SPC, at least fourteen days but no more than nine months have passed since vaccination; or

d) Laboratory-confirmed COVID-19, completion of the isolation period required by the Ministry of Health’s current extraordinary measure, and no more than 180 days since the first positive SARS-CoV-2 point-of-care antigen or RT-PCR test; or

e) An employer’s confirmation of a negative SARS-CoV-2 antigen test taken no more than 72 hours earlier, using a test intended for self-testing or authorised by the Ministry of Health for use by a layperson; or

f) A declaration by the visitor, or their legal representative, confirming a negative SARS-CoV-2 antigen test at a school or educational establishment no more than 72 hours earlier, using a test intended for self-testing or authorised by the Ministry of Health for use by a layperson; or

g) Taking a preventive SARS-CoV-2 antigen test with a negative result, using a test intended for self-testing or authorised by the Ministry of Health for use by a layperson.
