On Saturday 24 September 2011, I. plavecký klub otužilců Praha held its traditional autumn campfire and a small club trial to test our readiness for the approaching cold-water swimming season.
We also managed to pull a tree from the water beneath the bridge. The river had brought it there, leaving it hidden below the surface where it could injure unsuspecting swimmers.
We enjoyed a preview screening on DVD of Jack Bright’s documentary about winter swimming in Prague.
